ILEX FAST TRACK COMMENCES AT BANGOR UNIVERSITY
Monday 19 September 2011
The exclusive nine week residential ILEX Fast Track course began on September 13th. at Bangor University Management Centre. Students from across the Country gathered last week for the first day of the nine week course, culminating in final examinations next January which, if successful, will give them Graduate Membership of the Institute of Legal Executives. Students are studying practice based subjects which includes Client Care, Civil Litigation and Family Practice.
Advance Principal, Adrian Mason said that 'the course is an excellent alternative to the LPC. Not only is it quicker (with Advance) but it is much cheaper too to become a legal executive. With legal executives doing virtually the same job as solicitors and are now able to become partners in firms, work autonomously and take up judicial appointments, it represents a compelling and cost effective way to become fully qualified lawyers.'
Advance is offering final year law graduates the opportunity to take part in Sessions in a series of 'taster' events being organised this Autumn. It is an excellent opportunity to meet existing students and experience a snippet of the detail within the programme.
